Due to the comfortableness! of the bed (King Koil Mattress for reference) we had to prise ourselves out of it this morning. Once up we walked over the road for our breakfast then finished packing (taking around 30 seconds) to start out for 9:30.
A nice view out to sea
After a luxurious night of sleep, the bed here is the most comfortable we have slept in for a long time, it was breakfast time. Our breakfasts are included in the price here, they were served over the road in their other property, it was a nice “american” style cereal, toast, jam, tea, coffee, etc.
The old and the modern
As it was only had a short day today we tried to delay our start but still managed to leave by half nine, not very good at stopping in bed.
We continued along the small beach road, no traffic and lovely sea views this continued for a while until there was an army checkpoint, we now know the route planner cannot distinguish between a public road and one through the middle of an Army Base!

Another restful nights sleep and we were good to start today’s cycling. What an excellent day it turned out to be.
The first part followed the main road, it was a good surface with a good shoulder and almost no traffic, win win. As an extra bonus much of it was next to the sea with some nice beaches.

Late last night there was a major thunderstorm with torrential rain. Not a night to be in a tent or even out and about.
We were nice and dry, as were our bicycles, and after a good sleep we were ready to get going.
Need we say any more?
It was a comfortable night at the hotel so we didn’t get going until 9:30 am.
Similar to yesterday the days cycling was on main roads but unlike yesterday it was a pleasant ride. The roads were wider and mostly a good shoulder, enjoyable cycling.

Today we made our way out of The Robertson for the last time, if anyone wants a very centrally located place to stay then you would not go wrong with these apartments, there are lots available on the various booking sites and AirBnB.

Over the last three days we have wandered around Kuala Lumpur. It is amazing how fast the week has gone, we decided to extend our stay here a further three days.

Another tourist day today and a visit to the Petronas Towers, cost RM80 per person. You can book online, picking a time slot and you are sent a QR code for each person which is scanned on entry.

A day for some sightseeing, the Batu Caves. This is both a natural cave system and a very holy Hindu Temple.
