Cycling About

Hello we are Janet and Martin and this is all about our cycle travels. During easter of 2016 year we both came to the decision that we wanted to spend some time cycling the world. After considerable soul searching we both resigned from our jobs and said goodbye to working for 5 months at the end of July 2016 returning December 2016.

This tour was the GREAT DIVIDE mountain bike route, starting in Banff Canada ending in Antelope Wells on the mexican border. We allowed a lot of time to cycle it’s 2800 or so miles, in fact we diverted across to Yellowstone and at Salida Colorado drove across to Cedar City Utah where we followed the Grand Canyon connector route to Wickenburg. From Wickenburg we headed west towards San Diego, turning south to enter Mexico through Tecate. Then on to Ensenada and back up to Tijuana and into the US. Following the Pacific Coast cycle route up to San Francisco.

At San Francisco we stopped, eventually flying home for christmas a total of 3360 miles.

It is now 15 months on from our return home and we are on a 12 month tour of Australia (completed), South Korea (completed), Japan (completed), Thailand (completed), Malaysia and Singapore.

We hope you will continue to follow our journey.
