Another gentle start today as we are in no rush. To begin we followed a couple of main roads, past what seemed like dozens of huge shopping malls (probably only two).

Then off onto a small road, only to reach a dead end and have to turn back, so a little further on again we turn off on to a small road, this time success nice quite cycling and it got better and better.

We zigged and zagged along, following ditches, plantations and farm roads until for the final 3 kilometres it was back on the main road into Ayer Hitam where we are stopping at the inn there.

Once checked in and showered we ate a lovely meal in the restaurant next door, roti carni and nasi goreng with a cold lemon tea.
